Oblivion Voice Acting Not As Good As We First Thought

I was playing Oblivion today and i was randomly walking up to NPCs, and talking to them (coz i was bored). i was talking to Tandilwe (you can find her in the 'Temple of the One' during the day). i talked to her about "Rumours" and she said something hillarious. This isnt meant to be funny but it was. You can download the file from here or you can go and see it for youself.

P.s You need to have completed the Theives Quild and the Main Quest for her to say it i think

P.P.S i dont think this has been posted before because when there were no hits when i googled it

I'm most bothered by the homeless people in Oblivion. They wander around and in a weak, tired and scratchy voice ask people if they can spare a coin. But if you walk up and talk to them, all of a sudden their voices change and they sound like high class upstanding individuals. I avoid talking to them just for that reason.

Yeah, they got these standard voices for certain sentences and quests which can be said by anyone. It's very annoying when someone suddenly starts talking with a totally different voice. Another reason to kill beggars...

It is pretty funny, quite a find. I can imagine hearing that in game would be quite a shock.

I don't mind the voice acting mostly, just the inconsistency as people have pointed out, the beggars are the worst. I came across a woman last night with a deep manly voice, which I later discovered was technically a man but with a face generated to look so much like a woman you couldn't tell. Gave me a real start to hear that voice come out of that head.

Indeed unusgaia. I've found the voice acting to be pretty good in OB so far, aside from the voice-changing beggars and people. The voices actually sound like they've been done by actors at least ;D Plus, theres Sean Bean's voice, and the presence of the Yorkshire lad makes anything good.

hey any game that has Patrick Stewarts voice in it that his first sentance isnt "captains log star date....." is good by me. Not to mention the fact that we have voices in the first place. Remember Morrowind people said random things as you walked past and then had to read everything once you actually engaged in dialogue. Also the fact that you can hear other conversations from people is cool as hell.
