Barra
Hi guys I'm new to modding FO3 and I downloaded and installed a couple of the "adult" stuff from the Top 100. First I got really disappointed because one of these mods overwrote my savegames :(But that's not the point. I got a serious problem now: One of the mods obviously added children who fight for the raiders and they aren't killable!! I met them first in and in front of the super-duper-market.Did anyone of you ever experienced this? That seriously impacts gameplay for me. First I have to start from scratch and then I can't play further because of that :( These attachments are my Fallout Mod Manager Screenies:
pkleiss
I'm not sure what your question is other than has anyone ever experienced this before. Sure, kids are not killable in the default game. Just remove the mod that adds the raider kids. Most likely, its the Aged based body mods. And even though you've added killable kids at the end does not mean that that mod can change kids added by other mods.
Barra
Hi pkleiss! Thx for your answer!Yes, I didn't made a real question :) But I meant (as you said) to ask which mod probably added the raider kids. I didn't read anything about that in the description of the mods I added. The description in the Mod Manager of the "agebasedbodys" reads: "Lets you switch bodys on the fly" author JoshNZ, so I can't imagine that this is the solution :(
pkleiss
I am not very aware of what all the mods do like many others on the forum. I was only guessing with Aged based bodies. My only suggestion is to remove your mods one-at-a-time and see which one removes the kids, or remove them all and add them back one-at-a-time. Good luck. Barra
I tried to remove the agebasedbodies esm and esp. but the savegames won't load after that, so....
pkleiss
Ya, that's what happens sometimes. If you still want to find the culprit, just start a new game with no mods and make a save near where you would find raider kids. Then begin to add them one at a time. Of couse, if its due to replacer files already in your fallout folder structure, this may not work unless you remove the files as well.
Barra
Yea, that's what I thought, too. I found an other "solution" though: Since I realized that not only Raiders respectively Raider kids are the problem but also NPC got older too (like Moira, Jenny Stahl etc.) and I couldn't deactivate the agebasedbodies files, I tried to mess around with that Body Control option. So I found out that I have "only" to click the button "Reset all NPC's" in the Body Control screen to get the normal faces/bodies of the NPC's back. I suppose this applies also for the Raider kids because since then I didn't met one anymore  Downside is only that I can't use the Body Control for the NPC's anymore, but.... So far so good  Thx for your help!!
