ZephyrKun
I am just posting this for reference, may other people stumble upon the same issue.Ok so it didnt work at first, viewing the values of the morph line i sensed something wrong, the new ones were shorter. So i tried with another character, and the face wouldnt chage either, then I realized that was because i had previously overrided it with a *.mor character so i just got rid of that value and it worked. (Which makes all the sense in the world) Also I noticed that you cannot change anything of the pre-made characters when starting a new game, but if yo go back to the character creation .exe you cam personalize there. Now another question arises. Why would the hairstyle from More_Hairstyles_0_51-392 work, because i got mitten hair, but cannot select them on the creation ? cheers! DarkeWolf
if mitten hair is from another chargen package, you have a chargenmorphcfg.xml conflict. the game will only read ONE chargenmorph file list. And since most chargen mods come with their own list, there's a conflict, and the newer ones wont show up. to correct the issue, you have to compile the two lists into one list, and make sure that THAT list is the only one in your dragonage folder.IF the new mod came with a chargen file, the answer is very simple. Just use this program. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=971 if it DIDN'T, then you are manually going to have to go thru the names of the hairs in the new mod, and add them to the chargenmorphcfg.xml document by copy and paste. You ahve to open it with notepad. the only ones you'll need to copy over are under hairs, hm hf ef em dm df and possibly qm if there are any.
