harvengure
Legally, its a process to be able to do in on the level but its not impossible. ESO inspired stuff though, that is different. I'm already started dabbling with Imperial armor based on what I saw in an ESO vid. Not too seriously because I am working on a Dawnguard mod but... cyrodillicblade
what kind of imperial armor are you making, because that is the only type of armor i really even cared about in the first place.
LOL50015
Well, people don't have to upload them to the nexus, when they're finished porting, they could just leave a comment somewhere here and we'll google search it ourselves.
cyrodillicblade
that might just work, but im not sure who will do it, we have harvengure but he says he is working on something else right now and hes only one person so we cant expect him to do all the work. harvengure
The armor I am working on is (or will be, I suppose) heavily inspired by this videohttp://youtu.be/hCJID3lWHtE?t=14s
Cendrigal
Ah, that's a mix between Orichalchum tier heavy Imperial and Dwarven+ tier heavy Imperial. Very nice. Witcher5688 has been working on the same set, he has a lot of nice WIP shots up. Maybe you two can bounce ideas off of each other? Really excited to see this in Skyrim. Hallgarth
My guess is that you can get around copyright by building the the armours from scratch and not porting them. The plus of this is that you can make the armours look better, as they look a bit flat in ESO in my opinion.
LOL50015
I got an idea, load up the ESO model in a 3d app and retopo it, 3ds max's graphite modelling tool or zbrush's zremesher works good. Then no one would be able to prove that you ported it.
harvengure
I was just building something from scratch that looked very much like the original but not the same.
