Remiak1
Hello, I was wondering if i mod my dragon age origins, will i still be able to import my save file to dragon age 2 (and possibly dragon age inquisiton), or would it be considered corrupted? Thandal
Yes, there is essentially ZERO impact by mods on the (broken) plot-flag / world-state import functions of DAO --> DAA --> WH --> DA2. I say "broken" because as BioWare has acknowledged, they did not correctly retain all the information from DAO into a DAA import. So if you play through the entire series some of your decisions are "lost", and they're replaced by default settings. Making matters worse is that if you import to DAA from a DAO save made after the "Post-Coronation" auto-save in DAO, then even some flags that should have imported correctly are trashed; like your relationship with Morrigan and whether or not you did the DR (yourself, or via a surrogate.) Those get set to the defaults too. But I've made it sound harder than it really is. Most people have no problem (or just don't notice the more subtle changes.) If you understand that and are careful, you can get the world-state you want for your DA2 import without too much hassle.
