Frozen Throne

Umm Can someone make a Frozen Throne? I dont like too much what i saw.....the northrend crashes my game and i want a place where would be a big mountain and on top a Throne,when u sit on it the thing with sleep will appear and after u wake up u would see the frozen dragon,the scourge army etc........pleaaaaaaaaaseeee

To be honest I am not sure any modder out there with the capability to do this would at all just to appease this one particular usage, however, should you seriously want this done there are other ways to ask for it, ones that are much more affective.

 

Outline your idea: Give a good outline on what your mod does, a short description of what it adds then a detailed one. Not just the whole frozen throne being there for the sake of being there but what it's for, if it's for a quest line, if it's for some sort of weapon obtainment, etc.

 

Ask politely, but maturely: IE, don't type in "pleaaaaassssseeeee", it's kind of unprofessional and unattractive to those who can help to want to help. Paragraph your sentences, use punctuation and good grammar.

 

Be realistic: While it is possible in certain respects to do as you ask, such as using a video I believe of the BIK format (I could be remembering wrong) to play that is actually a small accumulation of short videos taken inside Icecrown itself, or even be teleported to a location where the scourge are overrunning the place, but don't ask for things such as seeing a literal army of undead in the hundreds or even thousands to just appear to you in game. For one, that would crash the game, the engine simply can not handle showing more mobs than 20 at one time for most computers. There is one person with a really high end comp who made a vid of 80 battling, but there were several scripts put in place to basically stop the running of so much background AI, collision, other scripts ETC so as to lessen the burden of what the game has to run so it can be done.

 

Be feasible: Again, just having a throne there for the sake of it being there is unattractive. Put up a detailed quest line, considering what this subject is, maybe say there is a small (new) town overrun by scourge and it needs to be cleansed. Several caves as necromancer outposts need to be dealt with, etc etc, maybe gather the items from the scourge captains in order to make one really nice weapon.

 

Ask nicely, don't beg: Begging makes you seam as though you really have little idea of what it is exactly you want, as well, it just isn't very appealing.

 

I believe there are several threads, some even stickied, about how to ask for what you want.

 

Use the appropriate forum: This is general mod help, not forum request / suggestion. As such, those people whom can and are willing to or wanting to find a new mod in order to help will not see your request, or at least the vast majority won't, because you are in the wrong forum. When being attacked by a wolf, it's best to run to the nearest people with guns, not the nearest AA meeting.
