Antigravitas Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 If anyone can do it, it would be really really neat to have a map in inventory that you can read like a book. Could a book be modified to resemble a folded map and then opened with the default book animation? A hand-drawn lore-friendly map would be my preference, maybe with a "here be dragons", or for simplicity maybe one of the existing world map images. Also really cool - a working compass. Something that you raise up and look at to see an accurate, rotating directional. I don't know too much about something like this but it would also be fun if you could sight it in with an actual LOS flip up sight. I thought I'd ask because there are so many amazing mods out there and huge expanded functions for the engine.
harvengure Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 The functions exist for the map I think. It'd require some...clumsy rigging, I would think; but doable. Force an animation before opening a 'book'.The compas, that one would be harder I would think.
