Getting tattoos to work?

I recently downloaded a few tattoos for DA that I just fell in love with, trouble is: I can't get them to show up in my game. I've tried editing the chargenmorph file, triple checked that I did it right, looked at instructions, and so on. I simply cannot get it to show up ingame. Do I need to use the toolset? If so, I'm at a loss as I've tried getting that to work with no success...

Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. This is literally my first two minutes on this board, and unless I already saw an answer - this was the first thing I was going to ask...well that and is there anyway at all to keep the original eye presets and just ADD all the others? My characters seem to have to freckles (tattoo mistake) and REALLY BRIGHT EYES! :)

I love all the custom stuff, I just want them to be additional...

much thx.

P.S. Ok - I've discovered you can fix your tattoos (if you applied incorrect ones over the presets) by deleting the files from the override folder and chargenmorph.xml - however, that didn't actually fix it - there were no selectable tattoos at all. So I reran the character generator application installer. It seems to have fixed the tattoo issue, but not the eyes (???) - luckily it doesn't seem to have affected anything else in the overrides folder. The eyes thing is really bugging me - I downloaded a mod to change how Alistair looks (thank you, thank you...uh....Geonox - he's actually hot now!), but I want him to have normal eyes...

I'm looking at this article below right now - I'm downloading the toolset - if I figure out how to fix eyes or add tattoos I'll let ya know. :)

Also - the chargenmorph.xml example on this thread was extremely helpful: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=190683

Also - double-check you only have one chargenmorph.xml in your override folder (OR ANY SUBFOLDERS) - I actually did only have the one, but I was having a problem with hair and discovered one "hidding" in a sub-folder. Once I deleted it the file I was working with began working properly.

...(five minutes later)....

Figured out the eyes - it was how I had them ordered in my chargenmorph.xml (they were all over the place and not in a "group" so I didn't think I was seeing them) - the below should be everyone (Pineapple, CC Color Tints, CS New Eyes...I think that's everyone):

Still working on the tattoo issue - will post if I can figure it out. - a

P.S. If you see your files referenced above and I didn't give you credit for your eyes - it's just because I've downloaded so much I've lost track. Sorry - just let me know. :)
