PowerVector
So I am creating a Teddy Bear Mine and I am having two issues that I cant seem to get around. First: The bear will not show in 1st Person even though I do have a 1stPerson teddy bear mine weapon in World Objects -> Static with the teddy bear .nif mesh. Second: Even though I used the bottle cap mine settings and only changed the mesh to teddybear01.nif (so the mine looks like a teddy bear but maintains all bottlecap mine functionality), after I place/arm/set the bear to detonate, it will stay on the ground for only a few seconds then glitch/teleport back to the place where it was tossed from and just stay there floating in the air, it will not detonate and you cannot disarm and take it. If anyone can help with either of these issues it would be very much appreciated.
pkleiss
You need three teddy bear objects. The 1st person, the weapon and the projectile. Its the projectile that you actually toss from the players hand in the game. On the teddy bear weapons page, on the art and sound tab, you have to link to the 1dt person and projectile versions. Each of those needs to int to your teddy bear nif for the correct art to show. Does that help?

Ah yes, sorry I forgot to mention that I do have them linked(properly), which is what is driving me crazy, every other weapon I've made works except this one, very strange. pkleiss
maybe post a pic with the weapon page (art & sound tab showing), projectile page & 1st person object. It may also have something to do with the animation type, but I'm not sure.

K, what program should I use for taking screenshots? if you have windows you already have all the tools you need 1. press Prt Scr on your keyboard2. open MS Paint3. Ctrl-V or "paste" the image into Paint4. Save Image as .Jpg there are other methods which im sure someone will argue are better.. however this is assuming you have 2 programs installed on your computer which are mostly universal throughout these forums, thus these instructions are universal to everyone.1. Windows (MS Paint)2. Fallout 3 *EDIT*OOOOOHi forgot to mention 1 lil thingy... this is assuming were taking a windows screenshot which by the post i replied to seemed to be the case if you were however needing to take an in game screen shot (or video, or frame rate test) it would seem the only way to go is FRAPS
pkleiss
I do the same thing, but want to add this... I made an account on www.photobucket.com and upload the .jpegs there, then pass the links into the posts. But you can also attach the jpegs to the post too. pkleiss
You could pass me a link to your mod, and I could take a look as well.
PowerVector
You could pass me a link to your mod, and I could take a look as well. I just make mods for myself to use atm, still learning all the editing stuff, so I'm not sure how to even put it online, but that will come later. Will take those pics later tonight once I get home.
