DarkeWolf
that, and that mod has issues getting some of the stuff to show up in game. the model for it, isnt to my liking either. I did happen to come across some meshes and textures for a daisho set. and they really aint bad, tho the metallic texture files need some serious improvement. And the blades could be just a tad bit wider.will add them to the project as a resource, as I'm a complete idiot when it comes to trying to manipulate 3d artwork.http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y1Z8POSE I tried to composite a screenshot of the mesh itself, but photoshop is being a serious spaz right now on my machine
Christine777
@DarkwolfThank you.I've downloaded the file already, and seeing the JPG - it was cool, i think. But honestly i don't know how/what to do about it. I put it in the overide folder and nothing happens? How do i install it? If it requires DAmmoder.exe - I am sorry for my OS lacks the updated version to run it. I only have WINDOWS XP service pack 2.Is there any other way i can install it?
DarkeWolf
nonono... those are source files. simply a set of meshes and textures that somebody with the knowledge and know-how could USE to make the mod. Once they have been edited to scale, and angled properly, and all that, in a 3d program. Then the files would have to be made to integrate them into the game, set their stats, and bundled up into a .dazip or .zip so they can be installed as a mod. I'm really sorry, I didnt realize that you didn't know what a source file was. It's not the mod itself.I have absolutely NO idea on how to do the stuff with the 3d art, so I thought I'd try to jumpstart the project by donating a part of it that I didnt know how to do. DarkeWolf
Yeah, sorry to get your hopes up, I didnt mean to do that. But yeah, I'd like to see this mod happen also. So I figured I can't help make it happen with skill, so I want to at least contribute, so I wanted to try to help out by contributing some free resources that I came across (well, hunted down actually).
