dtom1962 Posted April 20, 2006 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I'm currently revamping the Blackwood company hall for my own persoanl use, after the guild quests are over, if it works well and I can work out a quest to go with it i may release it. How ever I have a big problem with the tree sap room. I have removed everything in the room so that the only objects mentioned are the room, the door and the north marker. hoever when i enter the room the burned out tree and two fires are still burning. Can anyone give me a heads up about how I can get rid of them. Please Please Please don't just browes and move on. I would make a plugin that has them removed and just deactivate it for new or seperate games. Keeping it to use only for my character who was revamping the hall. I have removed everthing from the room in the CS. The only items now listed are the room, the door and the north marker. In the CS the room appears to be empty. but when I look in game the burnt out hist tree is back in the middle. this is no biggy as far as i am concerned as it adds a nice atmosphere to wwhat will be an alchemy room but two large flames appear to the left and right of the tree. I suspect these are part of the Fg quest line. I've been looking through this for Hours and cant figure out what is happening. Thanks for posting. I had a little look at the blackwood building when i went and did some side quests and it does look like a very cool building and should be a cool place to call a crib. How did you solve the problem by the way? It was my own stupid fault really. I simply mad copies of all of the rooms, and replaced the fornt door. i'm pretty sure i will be able to mod this so it can sit in the background until the fighters guild quest is complete.Then use a script to execute the door change. thats all it needs to work. I'm making steady progress and using it as a training piece for the cs. The changes made are Added new lower basement to a proper kitchen area.Added office.Added lower basement guest room and mage quartersAdded Secret Attic room Refurbished Hist room into alchemy roomRedecorated throughout. I've add all the structure, now its the slow task of setting the rooms.Everyday I dicover a new shortcut. Toady it was using CTR D to stack multiple items. It was in the wiki but not obvious. The my first dugeon tutorial is not a great first steps tutorial.It would be great if we had a thread where more experienced modders could give us some of there top tips.Construction Set ubiversity as it were.
