thither
I haven't had any more time to mess around with the mod itself but I am making pretty good progress on the installer script. It's currently capable of backing up all of the files in a mod from the game directory to a separate location, and the part which restores the backup is coming along pretty well. It is able to patch the executable, too (via a fairly simple-minded search and replace). Hopefully in another day or two I can get the whole shebang to work, assuming I get a bit more time to work on it.

Anderkent
FYI: some people are also reporting the graphics issue on reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Xcom/comments/2c603p/getting_long_war_to_work_on_osxsteam I still didn't have the time to run the missions for a prolonged time, so I don't know if it doesn't happen on my machine, or I just didn't get there yet. (I usually only work on my macbook, game on a pc). I think maybe reporting what machine / os version you're running on would be useful? FWIW, 2013 macbook pro on osx 10.9.2 here. jonnymiller
I've been having this graphic glitch quite frequently, I can usually get about 4-5 full turns before it happens and then I have to drop to the desktop and reload. Everytime I reload after this happens the game crashes and a second restart gets it back to normal. When it comes up the second time it offers to send a crash report, would it be beneficial to post the data in the crash report?
