Project Brazil questions

Didn't notice any current Project Brazil threads.

1) Exiting Vault 18, the first quest is to get to the Pinehaven safehouse. Got there, stood directly on the map quest marker even, but nothing happens.

There's a pressure plate in the building, and a cellar door outside. But putting weights on the pressure plate does nothing, and the interaction with the cellar door is to Open or Close, both of which do nothing. That is, the door stays closed, regardless.

2) How do you get inside Fort Daggerpoint? There's no method to opening the front door from the outside and I haven't been able to find anything like a backdoor.

I found the entrance to the Undermountain, which I explored, hoping there might be an access inside the caverns. But if there's one there, I didn't find it.

Its says upon existing vault 18, thats all that is done so far. So there is nothing minus worldspace and generic NPC fluff spawns added. Just go back to the vault enter eand exit again and choose go to doc Mitchell's.

1) there is no other world space involved, it's a place holder for the next installment. Your essentially done wit the 1rst installment

2) Down the concrete ramp dead center, there is a trigger for entry between the cracks of time, No door is there but that is the way inside.

Thanks! Annoying to have to find an invisible door. But once inside, well worth the trip!

(Sorry about the double post, but I want this to appear as a new post for people to look at.)

I've gone back to Vault 18 and gone in. But when I exit I do NOT get the "Stay here or go to Doc Mitchell's?" choice. The game just continues in Project Brazil normally. I get the feeling the "Go to Doc Mitchell's?" option won't appear again until the player completes Project Brazil. (Which apparently won't be for quite awhile.)

nope there is a glitch there some where. but it's been a long time for me and the PC I was connecting too is offline ,ras......skype..

I have no way to see where the trigger is, but you can contact the authors VIA google code I believe? or try t PM (TH).

I only have 606 MB left for my monthly data allotment left to use for internet so I am stuck. can't risk loosing my connections.

not sure if saving in vault 18 tunnel ,exiting the game, rebooting the game will work? the trigger is supposed to be in the patch, you can load the game with the patch off ,hard save, then reload with it back on and exit and see if it now fires .trick it. but if you console command your way into the other game, you stand to break the game.

if none of this works, you need to start a new game from the main menu.

To be clear, I already had the initial Save I had made before exiting the first time. I had to go back to that Save and make the "Go to Doc Mitchell's" choice.

[bummer about the connectivity between Project Brazil and FNV. Standing at the Vault 18 exit, I had a party of four followers and I was carrying about 2300 pounds of Inventory, which included a full spread of weapons and armor. When I arrived at Doc Mitchell's, I was practically naked. I didn't even have my Mercenary Pack equipment. And of the five followers, the only one to carry over was the Protectron stuck in Follow Mode. Still, it was like starting FNV at 6th level with the full selection of Perks and Attribute boosts already in place. (Translation: Goodsprings was a cakewalk.)]

The author said, possibly this issue will be resolved on the second installment of the games mod structure if and when it is completed. how it is done? with out contaminating the original design will be very precise and tricky to do in deed.

Keeping with styles ,separating the two Environments is what makes Brazil Unique. I know if you start to mix things up, things get Broken.

the data I have used, I have no access too at the moment but it was a cheat I made, I used a transitions method found in the great divide programing.

walk into the darkness and come into the light. from one world space into another cleanly and kept all that was earned.

On the version I built, my Fallout3 design, it does keep things because there is NO FNV here, just a blank file name, how ever, it deposits you into point lookouts house, an empty house. the instructions were that you had to have some parts of PL done already. I used a great deal of tree's in my version.

most of the Brazil Alpha Fo3 copy were intact ,massive forests and old houses. it was fun to make. Put away now and working on other smaller things.

I like tree's Grass, Living things. A fantasy game full of flowers and life. Even if that Vegetables garden is live and full of mutated plants that can eat you. it is still fun.

have fun with the game ,be creative.
