Removing hostility from Soul Trap effect

Disclaimer: i don't know scripting, but I'm really trying to pick up basics enough to create simple custom spells. Forgive me if I ask noobish questions :)

As can be gleamed from the title, I'm trying to make a custom spell for my archer thief that soul traps on target for a long duration, but does NOT hostile the target. I want to be able to cast the spell at my target without causing him to react (like the charm effect) so that I may follow it up with a sneak attack. In the CS, I created a new spell, but the pre-determined spell effects for "soul trap" grays out the "effect is hostile" checkbox. So, I think I have to create a custom script to achieve that purpose, but despite reading the tutorials, I don't know how to make the spell work.

Also, an unrelated question if I may, once I create the spell using the data for "oblivion.esm", can I just use player.addspell formID to get the spell in game? What if I use OOO and the DLCs? Will the formID work? I tried the tutorial: first spell in the CS wiki, but after following directions exactly, the spell wouldn't be added. Instead, an error message about parameters was given, sorry I don't remember the exact error message. If it's important, I'll go try again and update this post.
