kmang123
Hello, i have recently been working on making a new player home, and it came to me that i should add some small features like light switches. Well i watched this video on how to create one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hqaf2dlbio And it worked great, but my question is, how do i link my activator to multiple lights? It can only be connected to one if i am looking at the link section. I heard of someone using "Xmarker" to help them do this, but i have no idea what that is. I know my way around the GECK but I am not an expert. Is there a more efficient way to make a light switch than this video shows? If not, any help would be appreciated on helping me figure this out, Thank You.
kkk122
I think you need to create an object (any object will do, but simply use an XMarker - Object Window -> World Objects -> Static -> Filter: XMarker) and set the "Enable Parent" thing on all the lights to it so that the marker is the parent, then link the marker to the switch. You might want to take a look how it is done in OWB in The Sink with the mood/smart lights. Edited July 18, 2014 by kkk122
