how to remove grass

Hi everybody, I'm having a little problem with my mod... I need to make the grass disappear from a certain area cuz it's poking through my courtyard... How to do this?

Paint over the whole area with a texture that has no defined grass objects. Most of the grassy textures have a version with "nograss" at the end (sort the list alphabetically).

Be sure to use 100% opacity when using the above-mentioned no-grass texture, and make a wide enough firebreak that the plants can't reach across from the grass area into your grass-free area. (I like big brushes.) Be sure the cell you are editing is not on an edge cell of the 5X5 area of visible cells. You can only edit the center 3X3 cell area.

yeah I know how how to do both those things, but problem is when I try to add another landscape it just won't show up in my cs and the game (it does work in

other cells)

Too many land textures. Hit i when viewing a cell to pull up the texture window. The cell will be split into four quadrants, each quandrant listing the textures found in the cell. I forget the limit but I think it's only like 6 or 7 textures per cell before you can't add anymore. To remove textures simply click on it, then hit delete. I'd recommend using the SMALLEST value (percent wise) texture to keep the change as minimal as possible. And yes, you need to do it individually for EACH CELL.
