someoneod
Basically as the title says, I would like to know if there is a mod (since this seems fairly obvious), or how difficult it would be to remove class restrictions from items. ie. warriors in mage gear, or using a staff/crit gear, etc.
hdhd
It is really simple. Open the item you want to remove the restrictions (e.g gen_im_cth_mag_mor = Morrigan's Robes), click on Item properties --> Restriction: Morrigan and press the button "Remove". I don't know if it works also with other restrictions but normally it should.
DarkeWolf
This is after you've located and opened a local copy of the item's .uti file in toolset, btw  Also, unless it's a dlc or add-in item from a mod, many items can be replicated In-Game using the Winter Forge mod. (Unfortunately Morrigan's robes can't  ). But when an item is created using TWF, it doesnt have restrictions on it. I toyed around with a staff I made on my warrior, for a short time, before handing in on over to Wynn (who I'd originally made it for).http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=122 now however, regardless of which of these methods you use, the item is still going to have the material restriction on it. Meaning that dragonbone armor will still need 42 strength, silverite will still need 38 str, etc. there is also a mod that removes all restrictions from all items. tho I have never used it, so I cant verify if it works or not. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=518 OH! And I should also mention, that just because an item has an ability on it, and is being used by a different class, doesn't mean that class can use that ability. Especially with rogue stuff. A lot of the rogue ability skills are SINGULAR TO THEM. Meaning that a mage or warrior won't get the backstab boosts from say, a +10 backstab property on a weapon. Simply because those two classes can't use the backstab ability.
