Strange NPC Collision/Pathing Problems

Hey everyone, I seem to be having a lot of strange problems with NPC collision and pathing/placement. When I load into a new area I can often see NPCs kind of 'drop' (just a few inches from the ground) into their designated positions on the map. Often times they spawn strangely like 10 Bighorners on top of each other or slightly off from where they should be. Or sometimes I see a corpse of someone killed fall from the heavens onto where the corpse originally laid. Many NPCs seem to have pathing problems where they walk into walls, lampposts, other NPCs...and don't 'correct' themselves like they normally do. People that are supposed to sit in a chair in a building will sit down and then immediately get up again, then sit down, and infinitely repeat this. These problems seem to happen most often when I first load into an area.

 

I also find a lot of creatures and NPCs stuck inside the ground or a wall out in the Wastelands and often times creatures/npcs will kind of break apart and stretch into this kind of spaghetti mess and twitch around in the sky or in the ground where they seem stuck. In my last playthrough I had none of these problems but I've added many new mods in my current playthrough (mods were all loaded before playthrough started, clean start) so my best guess at this moment is the problem lies somewhere with them, whether it be a conflict/bug/too many plugins issue. If anyone has had similiar issues or know of some possible solutions I would greatly appreciate it as this issue has been really bothering me. Thank you.
