DarkeWolf
LOL no problem, glad to help out :smile:Well, you've just learned the first thing about dragon age. UNlearn everything that you thought you knew before, hahaha. As you are very new to this game, and from the sounds of it, you're used to being able to mod the games you play.... here's some tips. 1) DO NOT Patch to patch 1.03. It can cause you some very serious aggrivations with some of your mods. As in some of them not running correctly, some of the content being BLOCKED by the game, and some of the items NOT SHOWING UP, in the game. :verymad: :verymad: :verymad: 2) If you really get into the game, and think about trying the expansion AWAKENING, hold off on it. The expansion relies on patch 1.03, and until the issues with that patch get fixed, you'll end up having the problems that I just mentioned. If you've already patched up to 1.03, as you are very new to the game.... I hate to say it, but you may end up having to reinstall the game, and get rid of some registry entries to get rid of patch 1.03 in order for the mods to work. So honestly.... my advice is to do it now, rather than later. When you really don't have a whole lot to lose. Or at least, not nearly as much. If you need to reinstall, or have not yet patched up your game, only patch to 1.02. And don't let your game automatically do it, as it will patch to 1.03. Hunt around online. I know that fileplanet.com has the individual patches available for DL, and more of the gaming sites probly will as well. 1.01a 1.01b, and 1.02 a/b ( a if you have the english version of the game, b if you have a non-english version). Enjoy, its a really fun game, even with some of the mechanical bugs that it has, such as a killer ram consumption and memory leak.
