Monkeyuncle8
I am just wondering because I see all these unnecessarily long and gigantic armor and weapons that wouldn't be practical if it were medieval times (yeh I know its fake), but that is about the time frame are there actually weapons that are realistic? Pushkatu
Reading this made me laugh, don't ask why. I know how it is my friend, but don't need to panic, there are still plenty mods for us, true adventurers out there. Here's a good mod I'm sure you'll like: JaySuS Blades volume 2 I would also suggest you take a look at this member profile: Gizmodian on the second of his mod pages especialy. This is only to get you started. To find more, take your time and look around. Also feel free to check my list of Oblivion mods. I have sorted out what I think are the best weapon mods made for Oblivion and not only that... Cheers,Pushkatu!
Khet
*Clears throat* Franceso, Warcry, Oscuro (FCOM as a whole), Armamentium, Realswords, and of course Jaysus, just to name a FEW. That only includes the ones off the top of my head that add multiple weapons and armors. And yes, while FCOM is an overhaul it does adds hundreds (more?) new weapons and armor. Armamentium and Realswords can be run separate. Take some time to look around, don't just judge after looking at one or two. In fact, MOST weapons and armor mods I've seen are "realistic" in Oblivion terms. Edit: Just thought of some more. Lost Paladins of the Divines, Apophis Armory of the Silver Dragon, The Forgotten Signs: Pegasus. Again, your tastes may vary, but all of the ones I've mentioned adds weapons and armor that fit Oblivion. Very important to note that. They may not be realistic by Earth standards, but they do NOT look out of place in Oblivion. Which means there are also no twenty-foot-long swords with orbs of pure demonic energy circling around the blade, and when you swing it everything within a hundred yards gets sucked into a black hole. Again, all of those mods FIT OBLIVION and YOUR TASTES MAY VARY. But those are just some of the best I've thought of. Edit2: I have very profound thoughts while eating ice cream. Bob's Armory is another for you. Edited March 31, 2010 by Khet
