twistedfatel33t
I've been trying for the past hour to download a mod that is only 74kb and I keep getting a failure to connect error. I understand that the steam sale has caused an in flux of new members, so why not implement a cool down time for the number of mods any one account (or IP address) can make at any given time? I would download it using steam workshop, but a lot of modders here seem to only upload to nexus which is irritating when things like this occur. DeadOnAim
This is extremely annoying specifically because you can not download anything via NMM or manually, atleast if they were running on different servers you could still download the file manually. rage0976
Yep. Trying to get some mods updated, but alas, nothing seems able to connect. If this were a once in a while problem it wouldb't be so furstrating, but it's not. It's an ALL THE TIME problem. For months now it seems like nothing wants to download and it often takes many, many attempts to finally get it. Hell, it's not even a daily problem. It's an every hour of every day issue. Doesn't seem to matter when I try it, I always have issues with downloading.
twistedfatel33t
Part of the fix could also come from mod uploaders. They could upload their mods to the steam workshop in addition to nexus, because lets face it, Steam sales will only get bigger and better and we can expect this to happen year after year
