xathriley
I'm trying to set up a logitech cordless precision ps3 controller with oblivion. i have xpadder mapping the right stick to the mouse, and the diagonals of the left to wd, ds, sa, and aw respectively so i can move in those directions. aside from the jerkiness of the movement, which honestly i expected, this game sucks with controllers, the hotkey menu pops up when i move the stick to the edge of the diagonals. i can't figure out why this could possibly happen, as the only buttons i have mapped to anything are those i mentioned above. i set up the other functions with oblivion's default mapper. if anyone has any idea why this is happening i'd really appreciate it. also please refrain from telling me to use the keyboard and mouse. i absolutely loathe keyboard and mouse. i didn't play this amazing game for six months because i couldn't get it to work with the wired xbox controller i had at that time. when i bought the ps3 controller i didn't know it was usb, and when i discovered this my first thought was "awesome, now i might can play oblivion again!" help? thanks. myemptys
nobody? well fine, screw oblivion. first of all dont be so impatient... and second to possibly fix your problem with the hotkey popping up either remap your buttons or check the default mapping.. maybe something is conflicting idk.. i use the keyboard and mouse so i have no problems.
