Forsworn Briarheart torso is invisible

I only post this issue in the 'Mod Talk' threads because I know it was at least caused by a mod/my load order.

 

Fairly recently, after exploring in the hills near Markarth, I realized that all the torsos on the Forsworn Briarhearts were invisible. I could still see their hands, head, and feet, as well as any other armor they had on. It only seems to be affecting the Briarhearts. I have no idea what mod could have caused this issue, partly because I added multiple mods before starting skyrim again.

I don't recognize all of these, but what I do recognize shouldn't be able to cause this (I would think). Have you added any mesh changing mods manually that wouldn't be on your mod list?

I looked in my data folder and I couldn't find anything. I think I'll just experiment with different load orders. I'll reorder with loot, run the game with the order it gives me, and one by one, fix each conflicting plugin and hopefully I'll fix it. Thanks for your input.

EDIT: Fixed it!

 

Turns out it's Cloaks of Skyrim. There are a bunch of comments about it on the USKP mod page. You have to open up Cloaks.esp in TES5EDIT and delete the briarheart entry under 'Outfits'. The briarhearts you haven't encountered yet should be good, but if you load up a save with one loaded in, it will still be invisible. Just select him via the console and type resetinventory, and his body should reappear. Worked for me!

I also have this problem. I installed Cloaks of Skyrim before,but I remove it. However,Forsworn briarheart torso is still invisible :(

Cloaks of Skyrim causes this? Bulls***. I had the same version of it since forever and Briarherts were fine. How could it do something to them now?

It might be a change that was made in the USKP that caused it now.

 

Deleting the outfit from cloaks does solve the problem though.

A compatibility patch for USKP and Cloaks of Skyrim was recently released.
