matortheeternal
Hi. Some of you might know me from Skyrim modding (I'm the guy who made the merge plugins script). Anywho, I just wanted to share some images produced by my very own Voxel Engine. Oh and, before you ask, a voxel engine is a 3d graphics engine that works with voxels instead of triangles/polygons. E.g. cubes. Sort of like minecraft. I've been using this voxel engine to generate 3d fractals. Because fractals are awesome. It's currently in Java and uses software raycasting (because it was initially for a project where I couldn't use any third party libraries). The images you see below were not generated in real time at high frame rate, but when I port this over to C++ and OpenGL/OpenCL they will be. Anywho, here's some sample images and a link to an imgur album: http://puu.sh/alwe6.png http://puu.sh/alA9L.png http://puu.sh/alAU2.png http://puu.sh/alBxX.png http://imgur.com/a/Ox4Gx -Mator Edited July 22, 2014 by matortheeternal
Rennn
Impressive... I'm pretty sure that last fractal is staring at me though.
