Skyrim stuck camera zoom/perspective (enhanced camera mod suspected)

I have tried

-pressing and holding F

-Frantically scrolling mousewheel

-Remapping keys

-werewolf mode, see note

-tfc

-sleeping

-sitting in a chair

-using utility benches

I have used werewolf mode, before I did I was stuck in first person view. After, I am now stuck in third person view, with no way to zoom out or go back into first person view.

My camera or pov is completely stuck on any zooming. Although first person view works fine and third person mode also works fine.

Why I suspect enhanced camera mod? Well it said on its mod page about possible pov issues on horses and I thought it may relate.

I frequently switch in and out of the views and I cannot play comfortably without both views

Extra information:

-the camera stuck itself in the dark brotherhood mission to kill hert

-I don't have other mods that interfere with the camera

-previous hard saves (5hours previous) works, but I seriously do not want to redo the errands to help vilja restore her annoying dummerass liquid woman.

-I looked online for solutions, and looked at quite a few, I play on pc.

-I had same problem before with animations and the camera, and I fixed it with player.tai, if that matters here. I already tried it, and nothing

Help me magical forum, and cheers

This issue can also be caused by inproper handling of forced scenes,

Alright imagine this you get a mod that has a scripted scene that removes control from the player and plays out something idk like a spanking scene or dragonborn soul suck scene.

Then imagine that your random play idle mod fires off its script while this scene is playing out, couple that with script lag and now your camara is stuck just like yours.

This problem can be script lag,

Can be another mod fired off a call function for a scene causing an interupt

Can be that you inadvertently interrupted a call function by forcing a scene interupt

Not much else I can tell you, restoring proper camera isn't something I've found easy to do.

Fix for me has been to try to get another scene to fire off that makes changes to camera operation cause that usually restores how it functions back to original state after completion.

Wow, thanks for fast response, and an understandable explanation, I only haven't tried breyna quest yet, hopefully that will fix my problem. Come to think about it, it may be constantly rushing through the kill moves mods

  • 5 years later...

Pardon the thread necromancy but I came across this thread while trying to troubleshoot the issue myself and thought Iâd post a possible resolution in case others come across this thread.

For me, the issue seemed to be triggered when I used the âtfcâ console command in the middle of shifting into beast form. I was able to fix the issue by waiting a day and shifting back into â then out of â beast form while leaving the camera in the default beast mode perspective.
