SPAZwazza
Well, it took me a LONG while, but I finally discovered something I want that there isn't already a mod for. I'm looking for a way to make people look like ghosts ala Philter of the Phantom. I used the creation kit to change the Philter from 30 seconds to 24 hours, which is nice but only works for me. There's no way to make NPCs use one(at least that I'm aware of). There is a ghost ring mod that makes you spectral when you equip it, which you can make followers do. But I'd like to be able to ghostify any NPC, without needing to make them a follower. Would an Illusion spell that gives its target a spectral appearance for a good duration be possible? SPAZwazza
Holy hell, I did it! My first successful attempt to create a spell with the Creation Kit. I didn't quite figure out how to add it to levelled loot lists or vendors or anything, but I created a working Novice Illusion spell with a spellbook and everything that turns targets spectral for 1 day. Consoled it in and it seems to work just fine, no crashes or anything yet. I tacked it onto an existing .esp from another mod, I don't know how to make my own so I can't upload it as a mod...but if anyone else is looking for a spell like this, I could walk you through what I did to create it. reclusivefox
Congrats :) I am currently working on a set of extended philters of the phantom that cause ghostveil for 10 minutes to up to 10,000 hours. I tried creating a ring with the effect but there are too many bugs associated with it, and the effects become permanent. This way, you can still enchant your own ring while using the ghostveil effect. Already created the items themselves now I just need to get a creative way to add them into the game. I'll be sure to post the upload here though.I might create a new spell with the effect as well - we'll see. For now, though, I'd rather have just the potions. Perhaps down the road I'll create a spell.
