Trefalen
I really like how this armor looks, it's a bit fancier then the stock version and would really like a set of it with decent stats (no need for godly, just stats in line with say strength 38 to wear). No helmet needed just chest, gloves and boots if possible. (sorry no screenshot I dumped all my saves and did a fresh install to go back to 1.02a) To be clear, this is the armor you see Arl eamon wearing when he adresses the landsmeet, NOT his massive battle armor seen later at redcliffe.) Thanks for the chance to ask, great site and I'm a verey appreciative of the work all the modders do!

DarkeWolf
gen_im_arm_cht_hvy_cergen_im_arm_glv_hvy_cergen_im_arm_bot_hvy_cer those are the item names if anybody wants to go for it. I'd definitely rework the stats tho, they are pretty crappy.

DarkeWolf
not a problem, glad to help out where I can. I dont know the first thing about actually making it into a mod, so I figured at least giving the filenames would help with the project. I hate to sound bad...I've kinda got my plate full until tomorrow night when I get home from school. But if you can wait till then, I'll take a stab at writing a script that will add them to Bodhan in the party camp. And then you can use the winter forge to craft them to fit your playstyle. I'll try to make it so that it will respawn on him when you load the camp area, so that you buy as many as you want from him. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=122 it will let you mod items in game, so you can erase the crappy stats on it that it's already got, and then mod it out to however you like. There's a bit of a learning curve to this mod, and it does require some skill points to throw in, to be able to read the formula scrolls necessary to use the forge (dont get me started on this, its the only thing I dont like about the mod!). http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=179 You can use this mod, to get the skillpoints, so that you dont have to waste time on levels just to be able to use a mod. I'll see what I can put together on that script tomorrow night. I'm really sorry to make you wait till then. But I've got a busy day before school tomorrow, and its been a long day, my brain is fried, tired of working in the toolcrap, I hope you understand

DarkeWolf
Ok, this is giving me issues. I'm trying to create the script that puts them on Bodhan, but I keep getting this error message after the compile.I'm gonna post it in the builder section to see if I can find out what I'm doing wrong here. In the meantime... I can offer you a half-arse solution. Party Recruiting. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=740 This mod can be kind of buggy. A lot of times a lot of people can't get the characters to show up in the character selection screen, and some folks have issues with the way that he made the characters. (they dont like the choices of characters he emulated).Anyway.... Install the mod. On your world map, click on the pin that is now up by the party camp, to travel to the recruiting area. Hunt thru the building until you find Arle Eamon. Recruit Arle Eamon. Once you recruit him you will A) have him with the armor on him... or B) have his armor in your inventory.(depends on his stats, based on your level. if he can't wear it, it shows up in your inventory). strip him of the armor, or just keep it in your backpack. save the game on a new save. close the game and uninstall the mod. (you dont want Eamon in your party. he's the only character in this mod that doesn't fight correctly. His AI is bugged, and he won't fight.) (I guess loghain was right when he said he was too old and fat, hahaha). Start the game again, and force load your new save. Then save it again. The armor SHOULD still be there, as it puts it on HIM, not on You. If you want to go ahead and keep the mod, and they show up in the selection screen ok, reinstall it, and have fun with it. I like it myself. see if that works, and then you can mod it out in the Forge mod. I'm gonna keep working on the script, but I need to find out what I'm doing wrong. You might want to look at the winter forge mod, I think I saw (It was late) a way to grab the armor in question by creating it?
DarkeWolf
I've been using TWF for a couple of months now :wink:Granted, I havent checked out the Latest version of it ( it went from 3.3 to 4.0 then up to 4.2) I'm still on 3.3 (because she added a new scroll system, and put them even MORE all over hell and back. I dont want to spend all that time RELOOKING for scrolls). Well... I'll be damned. I honestly DIDNT think that it had this armor in it's list to make. I just checked for it. Go to I'd like to forge something. A piece of armor. Heavy chain. The chest. Ceremonial Ferelden armor. wow. Now I feel dumb, lol. I really, really, did not think that this armor was in there. But, at least you got me to working on add to inventory scripts, which is something that I'd been procrastinating for a considerable amount of time
