DarkeWolf
It is, I absolutely love that mod (with a few exceptions). It gives regular players a chance to make some of the gear that they want, without having to deal with the toolset, or for those that cant get the TS to work on their computers.Alltime great mod. Trefalen
Well after some playing and learning (Winter Forge mod), here is my result. I used dilegence style gauntlets and boots, Wardens helm, and Ferelden cerimonial armor for the chest, then made a sheild and wardens sword. They have the stats I wanted and are a set with a fatigue factor of 0.2% lol It seems to really suit my female Warrior. She even has the Wardens tatoo! To top it all off I used Golden enameling (tier 7) to make them all match. http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/5118/veronicawardensarmor.png
DarkeWolf
hmmm, well now. I see that she (Phaenan) has changed the warden's crest. It used to be the one that was like the icon on the game, now its the one from the Commander's armor. VERY nice. Thats a good looking suit :smile:I'll go ahead and give you a tip, if you ever decide to go dual wield with the characters. Dont use the Warden swords for that. I've tried it on several occassions and the animations for it are bad. You'll notice several times that you end up stabbing yourself thru the chest, or even the head! I'm glad to see that you are liking that mod

I have spent way too many hours playing with that mod, I always liked crafting in the mmo's I played, and really enjoy seeing what I can create. Yeah DW is a lil goofy with a sword, I was running dw on my fem warrior and just recently ran the respec, and put her back to sword and board. To me, if you DW roll a rogue. DW warriors are kinda limited.
DarkeWolf
hahaha I hear you there! I have spent a lot more time talking to the mute elf, than I have spent talking to my party members. Or spent more time making items for my team, than I've spent Using my team. On my second runthru, I had all my fighters as dual wield. And let me say, my team was a meat grinder. Tho I myself use cheats. I run them as both. Flourentine (dw) and StabNslab'ers. Anytime that they get a point thrown into one, I cheat and throw a point into the other. Most of the time I use them two weapons, just for better attack skills, but switch them over to sword and board if we have heavy opposition where we need the defense, or run into critters that maul. and need to be knocked off, with the shield attacks.that and just me personally, I like stun a lot more than I do knockdown. I defintely agree tho that rogues are better at DW. especially when their other skills start tacking on additional damage. plus, having them around to disarm traps is really nice :wink:I run a lock hack, so I dont need them to open chests and stuff, but those traps is definitely nice. One thing that is really cool about having the force is that if you want to, you can set a motive to your characters. Like on my second runthru I had the wardens both wearing effort amor, oghren wearing better dwarven, and the two rogues in heavy dwarven chain. (Leli and Zev both look prettty good in blue!) Trefalen
My current rogue is using Duelist skills, seeing her block attacks with the daggers is pretty cool. she is my mage killer, she has about 75% physical resist, high nature resist, and high dex, so she's hard to stop and hard to hit. That coulped with Morrigan outfitted as my arcane warrior, makes it tough to know who to watch lol When mobs try to swarm Morrigan, the barbeque begins lolHere is my current rogues amor, I used stats from leliannas items mod and I'm pretty close to the look I want (all leather). http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/7389/screenshot2010041216104.th.jpg
DarkeWolf
nice look! but you need a no helmet mod. those caps never were too attactive, IMO. have you seen the new mord sith armor? http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1055I've been a fan of the Seeker since late season 1, and seriously thinking about making a rogue, just to try this armor out. HAVE to name the rogue Kara, of course. (Kara is the mord sith in season 2). Seeing a block is always fun! IF you havent gotten that character to the fight against Arle Howe yet, create a save for it before you fight him. I've got it saved on my ax-warrior and will run it sometimes just for pure entertainment value. she uses paired hand axes, and watching those two go at is just awesome. You've got parries (blocks) going off LEFT AND RIGHT from both sides, and dodges all over the place. I had one fight that I wished SOOOO bad that I'd been recording, rather than screenshotting. It looked like one hell of a well choreographed movie scene.LOL that fight ended up taking so long to finish that I ended up cheating and started using attacks like Holy Smite, Battle Cry, etc to be able to get hits on him. I'm still trying to learn how to set up an AW correctly, but yeah... they can be some very, very nasty fighters. The only thing I REALLY didnt like about it when I tried to set Mora up as one on my fighter, was that she was getting more of the action in the fight than I was. I'm a ho for the kills, and when they'd start running away from me to go after mora, I'd get upset, lol.
