tgp1994
I recently somehow ended the quest, (by telling the person that their book isn't worth it, I thought it took more than one go...) So now I am stuck with a Processor Widget sitting in my inventory. So I go the RobCo mainframe computer, and it says it is not functioning. Well, no sh*t. There doesn't seem to be a way for me put the processor in. Does anyone know if there are any secret hoops or dances I have to do to get it in? tassadarfanboy
The only ways I know is some serious tampering with the debug console or a reload to a save before you broke the script. The latter is probably the more time-efficient choice.

Wait, I broke a script? Is it possible to just reset that script? Or maybe remove the object from my inventory? I wouldn't be missing much, would I? tassadarfanboy
Well, the way I understand it, the functionality of the processor widget is direct tied into the Wasteland Survival Guide quest. You would have to set the quest stage back to the point where the objective of installing the widget on the mainframe is active. If you don't wanna do the quest, you're not really missing much. The widget just activates all the robots in the RobCo facility (spoilers), but they'll be hostile and you must hack the mainframe to change their behaviour do something more favourable. If you want to get rid of the quest item, simply type into the debug console:player.removeitem 2D3B4
