Adding a new sound to the game?

I have a sound i want to use for a gun in one of the mods i have, it's the right format, and totally ready to use in game.

Problem is i have no idea how to make it an option for a weapon sound in the geck.

 

How do i add this sound the the list of sounds i can use for guns in the geck?

Make a new sound object. Under Miscellaneous --> Sound. Right click, choose new, then point to your sound file and adjust other settings. You'll need bot a 2D and 3D sound. See this.
