bobboxx Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 I am using the steam version of oblivion and I have trying to get deadly reflex to work, I will start the game and get the pop up telling me to bind a free key to the bash ability. Once I do this nothing happens and there is also no hourglass in my inventory. I have been trying to get this to work for a couple of days now and its really starting to but me, I think I have narrowed down the problem to OBSE, i am fallowing the steps to install OBSE but when i start it using steam i don't think that OBSE is automatically starting like it says it should when launched using steam. I am wondering if a anyone else has encountered this problem when trying to get deadly reflex to work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rifler Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 Have the Steam Goty version to. Where did you put the OBSE files? \Oblivion or \Oblivion\Data? And which version of Deadly Reflex do you use? Using steam, have installed OBMM into steamapps/common/oblivion and extracted all the OBSE files into the same folder. Tried running the game with both the OBMM launch and the OBSE. The game start up and makes it to the menu screen, but when i click to start a new game nothing happens. Also I don't see any of the new abilities in the controls menu, to change the keybinds. So it is either not picking up the deadly reflex mod, or it is but it isn't implementing them. NEED HELP PLZ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
draass Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 Same problem. I have the Steam GOTY version and my OBSE related mods wont work, it wont crash the game , they just wont work. Like u said it my DR mod will start, The pop up will come up asking me to assign a key, then absolutely nothing changes. Same thing with Oblivion XP mod.
