Need Help mods won't work.

I have Fallout New Vegas Ultimate addition from Steam.

I downloaded the new Nexus Mod manager and installed with all recommended settings.

I then ran the game to establish the files needed.

I then added several mod like the AA12 and some swords.

None of the mods show up in the game.

In the plugin tab of the mod manager they always get un-checked.

Even when I manually re-check them they never show-up, they don't even show-up in the DATA FILE tab in the start screen.

I have also tried to install the mods manually.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
