Script Remote Radio Activator

Hello together,

 

how can i remote activate a radio ?

 

I build a bus interior and move a vintage radio near the place of the bus radio. Now i want to place a Activator Button near the driver seat, with this button i want to activate the radio.

 

Does someone know a script for that?

It is easier than a script. Make the activator button near the driver's seat an Activate Parent for the radio, then activating the button will cause the radio to toggle on and off.

but how must i set up, i try it with enable parent but it doesn´t work:

 

i try:

Activate Parent on the Button (the linked Object is the Radio)

Enable Parent on the Button (the linked Object is the radio)

Activate Parent and LinkedRef on the Button (the linked objects is the radio)...the same with enable parent..

 

what options must i set for the button and the radio?

Have you tried editing the radio (child) and specifying that its activate parent is the button?

 

Shouldn't require an additional LinkedRef specification.

 

Are you certain that the button/switch is designated as an activator?

 

You don't need the enable parent function unless the radio is initially disabled.
