don't worry - it's not an important thing.

normaly it works without changing the bios-settings.

just install your card and it should run fine - the only difference is that booting takes a little bit longer - (some seconds more)

Ah thats ok, but what if it doesnt work automatically?

normaly it should - but if not you have to enter the bios.

if you start your computer you have to press F1 or F2 or DEL (depends on your Bios)

there you can change the settings - but careful - it's better to change the things i've told you.

changing ram-setting or cpu-settings could make your pc freeze or something like that

So when i put it in first time, i put all the cables etc back in and turn it on, then hopefully everything should. Next do i have to install the drivers on the disc, or will they be on as soon as i turn it on? Also i think my power supply can power the new card, so dont have to buy one of those now :)

are you using windows-xp or windows7 ?

hm k - vista is not really my cup of tea - but however

i think it will boot till you see the desktop and then, it will ask you for the driver - just install your vista-driver and it should work.

 

 

your power supply could be strong enough. 400w are "recommend"
