Alchemy Realism Suggestion

I have checked to see if this idea already exists, and was a little surprised to see that it doesn't. (afaik anyway!)

 

Does anyone else think that its odd that a potion can vary in weight between 5 and 0.1 stone? Especially when the weight of a potion can also be based upon the weight of already existing potions of the same type.

 

Whats more weird is that you can escape, naked from prison, pick up a mortar and pestle, and a few vegetables, and all of a sudden you are producing glass bottles from nowhere!

 

So my suggestion is this:

Standardise the weight of all potions, to say, 0.3 stone.

Make new item 'empty bottle' available for sale and created upon using any potion, weighing 0.1 stone. Neccesary for making potions.

Add a hotkey+LClick function to potions in inventory (and other containers?) which empties a potion, rather than drinking it.

Modify the alchemy gump to include an 'empty bottles' count.

 

 

Any thoughts on merit or implementability? (or if it already exists!)
