MariaKim
Hey there,i am a new "addict" to Fallout 3! Love this game...but still not throu with it..so no addons/no mods :-) Right now i just finished the "Vault 112" quest. I used the Failsave to get it done. Dad left and so on..... Now i was just wandering around in the vault, looking at the monitors. It seems the people are still alive (some need medical attention). I also went in the room of Brown, But i can´t do nothing for them.....cant enter ther Pods again and can´t interact oder something.... Would love to save them...but did not find anything at all....any help`? Or is this it`? The only thing i heard is, that there seems to be some console command that makes Brown come out of his pod.....any more infos would be great!! tassadarfanboy
You can't save them, they're dead for real. Next time, don't skip over the documentation of the failsafe. As for Braun, he's trapped into an eternity of loneliness. Well, probably not eternal since despite the active maintenance robots, one pod fails every century or two. Vanilla has no way of euthanising him, but FOOK adds the option of cutting the power to his pod. Nothing left to do, just talk to Dad and move on with him. EDIT: I apologize for my premature judgement. One of the mods I had must have fixed that so I never noticed.
aerialz
There is no way to rescue the civilians in the pods, they are dead after the failsafe is activated and thus released from their otherwise endless torment. Dr Stanislaus Braun however, is still alive and trapped alone in the Tranquility Lane simulation. I don't think there are any mods that allow you to rescue the occupants, but I might be wrong though. As for the console command, you could use the code player.placeatme 000bd693 to place him right in front of you, but you would have no real option to talk to him, as interacting with Braun outside of the simulation was never intended to be part of the game. MariaKim
Understood...btw. i did not skip the documentation ;-) I read it.... But if you take a look at the monitors outside the Pods, you see that they are in fact still alive after the Failsafe (or this is a Game-Bug). But thanks for your help! aerialz
But if you take a look at the monitors outside the Pods, you see that they are in fact still alive after the Failsafe (or this is a Game-Bug).I was also wondering why the monitors were still displaying vital signs when I played through the storyline for the first time. But it seems the game developers simply forgot or didn't bother changing the monitors display accordingly.

Kazakovich
And if you could, they've spent the latest 200 years together with Betty Braun. Their bodies is probably too withered to cope outside the lounges anymore, espesially in the harsh wastelands, not to mention their poor minds. They'd stagger out of the door, take a sweeping look over the desert and collaps in a heap, poor things.
Feltorn Von Dentai
My thinking is that all those pod monitors are the faulty things. Over a century left underground with nothing but a couple maintainents bots? Somehow I doubt those monitors are very reliable. Besides, even if they are alive, they'd be braindead - The failsafe kills them in the sim, and therefore they believe they are dead and their minds shut down. Britanol
I would go more with cardiac arrest, like the Anchorage simulation. It's the same thing, but the relaxation vault uses more powerful tech.
iavor55
Not exacly...In Acnhorage you wear a neuro suit.I presume it was used to simulate pain and such feelings more realistic while in the battle sim so that that all the soldiers would have experienced the full heat of the battle! In the vault 112 sim you just wear a vault 112 standard suit. The sim wasn't ever ment to replicate the poo reallisticly. It just added basic feelings like happiness, sadness, etc. While dieing in the Anchorage mission would have a physical impact, thus causing cardiac arrest, dieing in the vault 112 sim would cause mainly brain damage, thus causing brain death.
