ell46
Would it be possible to have some female Mage robes that don't make me look like a sl*t or a frumpy old woman please  something alluring with a hint of mystery/mischief. At the moment all there seems to be is the Chasind robes which are nice in red but too far up your backside and make Morrigans look respectable and I haven't figured out yet if those gold blobs at the top are only just covering the nipples or not and the things/robes they give you at the Circle  they look like they are made out of wood and old potato sacks. Sorry just have to try this... why when I type the word girlfriend is it replaced with girlfriend?? they don't actually mean the same thing. Well that is interesting, I didn't realise that word was considered so bad in some countries, the UK must be a bit more broad minded than some.
DarkeWolf
well, I cant help out with the armor, but the issue you're running into is the profanity filter. Certain words are blacklisted, and if you type them out, they will be censored into whatever you see as the replacement. Once such word gets replaced by "a boy without a father" which is actually kinda funny.

I've seen on other forums how heated things can get.
DarkeWolf
LOL yeah, it was a B word for a guy  It was what Alistair keeps referring to himself as :wink:Hmmmm yours wouldnt have been an old world word for "hooker" would it? Some folks do see such language as offensive, tho they arent profanities. And can be used to attack others on here, yep
ell46
The word I used means a. A dirty untidy womanb. A woman adulterer Synonyms; jade, strumpet, hussy and probably hooker/prostitute though not listed, which is what the chasind robes make you look like. Trefalen
I recommend the Winter Forge mod. After only a few minutes I made this : http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/1874/screenshot2010040717045.th.jpg I started with a chasind robe that had the stats I wanted and converted it into a noble gown. It's well worth the look, and time needed to learn how to do things. If you have liked crafting in other games, it's a must! If you want it a bit sexier there is a mod that makes the chest area (part with cross lacing) see through and reveals the womans charms more. I've gone a bit wild with it and designed new stuff for my group so far, Morrigan enjoys not feeling a draft so much in colder climate too! http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/540/screenshot2010040717111.th.jpg Stens armor was created, Alistairs is the real "Diligence set". And of course Lelianna and Stevran are wearing the new Armour of the devoted. Man this place has everything!

Must admit I have been wondering about having a go, perhaps I'll take a look when I next get a quiet, peaceful MEeeee day. I'm not into all this see through stuff, I always find it's best to leave something to the imagination. How do you go about learning, are there tuts somewhere or is it trial and error? I beleive there are tut's but I just started trying this and that.. Most important, make a save game before you start playing, so you have a fall back. I just did the side quest for Asala (stens sword) and remade it to look the same but now it has tier 8 stats. :) For those wondering what the WF is, My link
ell46
Thanks for the advice I will have a go. I'm the same clicking around but it's good to know there are tuts somewhere if all else fails.
