those are some mods that will improve the looks of their robes themselves.

Sorry, I thought that you were talking about retextures for some of them, and thats why I said that I couldnt help. Some of these tex files are really strange looking. difficult to distinguish what part it is that working with, lol.

Winter forge is great. Absolutely love that mod.

I'm definitely going to check it out, thanks for the encouragement and the links. I've no idea at the moment what to expect, but it should be fun finding out.

not a problem! I havent tried either of them out yet, since I'm running an older version of TWF that can't make robes. But I'm kinda liking the pictures of the mod that makes it so that the robes show the shoulders and back of the character wearing them.

  • 2 weeks later...

Would it be possible to have some female Mage robes that don't make me look like a sl*t or a frumpy old woman please  something alluring with a hint of mystery/mischief.

At the moment all there seems to be is the Chasind robes which are nice in red but too far up your backside and make Morrigans look respectable and I haven't figured out yet if those gold blobs at the top are only just covering the nipples or not and the things/robes they give you at the Circle  they look like they are made out of wood and old potato sacks.

Sorry just have to try this... why when I type the word girlfriend is it replaced with girlfriend?? they don't actually mean the same thing. Well that is interesting, I didn't realise that word was considered so bad in some countries, the UK must be a bit more broad minded than some.

I agree, unfortunately you'll have to hope a female player or a male who is isnt a perv(yea I know...so rare lol) decides to make mage robes to get something thats not slutty looking.

I do like the Oracle robes I downloaded off this site and they are available in many, many different colors. There are some other nice female robes I just dont recall the names.

I recommend the Winter Forge mod. After only a few minutes I made this :

I started with a chasind robe that had the stats I wanted and converted it into a noble gown. It's well worth the look, and time needed to learn how to do things. If you have liked crafting in other games, it's a must! If you want it a bit sexier there is a mod that makes the chest area (part with cross lacing) see through and reveals the womans charms more.

I've gone a bit wild with it and designed new stuff for my group so far, Morrigan enjoys not feeling a draft so much in colder climate too!

Stens armor was created, Alistairs is the real "Diligence set". And of course Lelianna and Stevran are wearing the new Armour of the devoted. Man this place has everything!

Must admit I have been wondering about having a go, perhaps I'll take a look when I next get a quiet, peaceful MEeeee day. I'm not into all this see through stuff, I always find it's best to leave something to the imagination.

How do you go about learning, are there tuts somewhere or is it trial and error?

I beleive there are tut's but I just started trying this and that.. Most important, make a save game before you start playing, so you have a fall back. I just did the side quest for Asala (stens sword) and remade it to look the same but now it has tier 8 stats. :)

For those wondering what the WF is, My link

I have the Winter forge mod...Im still trying to figure out how to use it,i wish it had a printable written tutorial as the in-game tut isnt user friendly. The mod itself is awesome just needs better instructions.

I'll check out the Oracle robes I must have missed those. I really must download this Winterforge thing and have a go, there just aren't enough hours in the day AND play games.
