Mods not working

It feels as though I'm having some problems getting mods to work. I thought Permanent Annoyance Remover was supposed to stop Rally from making that gong sound over, and over, and over... but it still does. And I've found a "Manifest" file. Is this like the chargenmorph file? Do I need to merge them somehow? Or should they all be kept in separate folders?

 

What else isn't working.. the pet going through loading screens, and I think that's it. Mostly those two.

 

Is there a way I'm supposed to keep them in my override folder? Some I have in their own folders. Some are just thrown willy nilly into override. Also, if I wish to completely remove every single addin and put them back in, what all should I delete? There are so many folders, and I don't know which to just... remove, without completely messing up my game.

Anything that is in the documents\bioware\dragon age\packages\core\ override folder is safe to delete, if you've removed the mods.

same with

\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns

 

But know that anything in AddIns that starts with dao_promo is DLC that you've paid for so unless you really wanna have to download those again, I'd leave those alone. As well as a folder that reads DEMO. Not that its really necessary, but to add it back in again requires either finding it on your disk, or reinstalling the game. Also dao_prc something something is AWAKENING, so don't delete that one either, if you've got that game.

I dont think that PAR ever addressed Rally. Theres a couple that do.

read carefully, especially the user comments. they may or may not be compatible with other mods you're using.

 

 

Summoned creatures dont survive thru an area transition. Thats how it works, you have to resummon them. http://dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=418 can make them so they don't.

 

Manifest is tied to each mod's files. Dont merge, don't delete unless you're getting rid of the mod.
