godlikeueber
Hi, Id be very happy about a hint to the question above. Is it a dds thing or do I have to adjust it elsewhere? Thank you very much.
BulletSix
i think it was the alpha channel of the normal map .... but there are many people here that know more than me ;)
godlikeueber
i think it was the alpha channel of the normal map .... but there are many people here that know more than me ;)I found it out myself... 1) you have to edit the alpha channel of the texture dds 2) you have to edit the parts of the nif which shall shine, a simple and effective free tool for this is nifskope. Tony the Wookie
the alpha channel of the Normal map texture, not the diffuse if you do the normal map of the diffuse it will not work you shouldn't need to mess with the .nif file though, as long as you are just editing the existing .dds file
MW2366
You COULD use the Glossiness feature, with the Specular Color in Nifskope... even though the Diffuse Color is faded out, Glossiness can go up to 1024, even if the bar can only go up to 100.
