sneakysquirrel
I didn't come up with this idea, and I imagine most of you have already heard this, but I'm just curious. I read about real time lockpicking mod ideas for Skyrim (Which sounded fun), but didn't find it on the nexus. By realtime lockpicking I mean that whenever you lockpick "time wouldn't freeze" but instead the game would continue and NPCs would be able to spot you if they saw you while lockpicking". Was the mod ever made? Is it impossible / not worth the amount of effort required to make it? Too unstable to implement? I feel having a mod like this would really make thief gameplay more exciting (Since I personally feel that lockpicking is all about wasting as few picks as possible since I have no real "pressure" or "time limit" of being caught. Sorry if I said something I shouldn't have (Better safe than sorry).
faffman
I've thought of this myself, and would really like a mod like this. It is as you say, it would make lockpicking more challenging. I can easily pick master locks with the skill at 15 and no perks, sometimes I just use the console to bust locks because it just isn't fun anymore. I support the idea.
