Oblivion Title Logo

Hi I am trying to change the oblivion logo at the title screen. As shown below

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/p.l.james/images/Oblivion_logo.jpg

I have extracted the textures bsa file using bsa commander and found that the relevant textures are in

/textures/menus/loading/tes_oblivion_logo_bink

/textures/menus/loading/tes_oblivion_logo_Final

/textures/menus50/loading/tes_oblivion_logo_bink

/textures/menus50/loading/tes_oblivion_logo_Final

I opened these up in photoshop and changed the images and then resaved them in the DDS format

Then I repacked the bsa.

However when I then load oblivion the area where the new texture should be on the main menu is white along with the mouse point becoming just a white box.

The background movie has already been changed

I was wondering if anyone knows why this is happening or maybe how to solve it.

Thanks for taking the time to read this hope someone can help.

Why did you repack the .bsa?

Have you tried just saving your edited files into your Data folder, in the same path as they would be within the .bsa?

The game automatically uses any files it finds on your computer, and only looks at the .bsa if nothing is found for the item in question.

I thought that because all the textures for the game were saved in the bsa it had to be repacked didn't know that it would use file in the data file first lol. Still very new to modding at the moment.

Tried just putting them in the data directory under data/textures/menu/loading/.... then the file names and worked perfectly.

Thank you very much for your help saved me there as this is for a group project. Also thanks for the quick response too.
