XxShinra
... I'm not ready to panic over this yet. But it doesn't work, I'm not really wanting to alternatively start anywhere else. Unless maybe it wouldn't alter the main quest... In the mean time I'm just gonna get rid of some of my custom races... I want to keep Mystic elves and... Tabaxi Race and getting rid of some of the others may cause this to work brb,,, Yep it did... But I need some humanhead and ears nifs and probably for some of my other original like Imperial the high elf ect. anyone know what I can do? Also... Oh that's what I wanted to know... how do I apply say a book dds to a book nif I know how to change the look of the dds but how do I add it to a nif... man... I don't want to bother you guys to much if at all could you just tell me where to get the original nifs and rather then explain everything just let me know if it is possible to add dds to nifs with nifscope. Thnx guys! ( I can figure the rest out I think )
RitualBlack
For custom race fix here are the needed links so you can start up a new character which is a custom race(both may be needed)http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3500http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1815 In nifskope their is a little flower icon in the trinif thing (don't have nifskope on this computer so I can't be exact or send you a screen shot). You also may need a bsa unpacker (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3117) Open up your oblivion bsa(s) and extract what you need, and place it in the correct oblivion folders, than go into nifckope and from the flower icon, browse your file path (for example[just an example, nothing else]; data/textures/book/book.dds). You will now have a book with a texture attached. As for getting the headhuman.nif I am not sure. You may just have to reinstall it, or ask if someone could send you them. Also use the BSA unpackers to see if what you need is in the BSAs. Hope this has been helpful. ***edit*** The BSA folder is the one shaped like a oblivion icon in your data directory and contains your vanilla meshes and textures.
