Personal Storage -> mod_add.gda

I think it would be incredibly useful if someone made a mod that made it so we (developers) could just make a mod_add.gda file and add items which would appear in the Personal Storage chest in Vigil's Keep super easily. All we'd have to do is open up a gda with gdaApp and put in a unique int, the uti name, the id, quantity, and then a 1. It would take scripting out of the question entirely for distribution, so things would be a lot easier this way. A mod maker would just make their own mod_add_whatever.gda to add their items, and any mod maker could use it.

Now, I doubt it would be widely used for a few reasons... Firstly because it would only work with Awakening, but I guess if you added a Personal Storage chest to the Camp in Origins then it'd be possible to just use the same one. In fact... You could probably just remove the Personal Storage chest in Awakening and replace it with another Personal Storage chest with another id and that one could be used for both Awakening and Origins. That way, it'd be compatible for both, even if someone doesn't own Awakening.

There's already a similar mod that does this. But there's a few differences... First of all, it's made as a pocket plane type of bag that you can open up anywhere to access the storage. Because of that, even if you change the AddIns file manually to run off the Awakening module, it'll make it so hardly any mobs spawn, cutscenes won't function properly and Oghren's cutscene never happens, effectively making it impossible to play Awakening. Pocket planes don't exactly work very well with Awakening... But, the second difference is, even with Origins, sometimes people get problems were they lose the stuff in their bag because the temporary bag that moves around with them can "get lost" somewhere when there's cutscenes and such. That's generally a problem with all of the pocket plane type mods. So, by having a static bag somewhere that doesn't move, that problem is effectively dealt with as well.

In short, I think it'd be really useful.

I don't know how hard it'd be to make, but I'd definitely use it..... a lot. It'd make my life soooo much easier.
