Crashing Problem

Basically.. Whenever I start oblivion and attempt to either sleep, in the mod to alter the beginning of the game where you start in the cabin, or when I try to exit the sewers I crash. I've tried teleporting out to say.. Bravil Castle and attempted to exit from there. Crash. I can't do anything. I'm stuck in the main room. Could it be something to do with my video card? Like it just can't handle the textures, etc? Using NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 at the moment. Oh and when I say crash I mean Oblivion simply closes and a pop-up comes up that offers to help. Like send error report, etc. Basically the pop-up that comes up whenever any other program crashes. It's getting rather annoying and I have No idea what might be wrong. I don't have any mods to alter textures, etc. It did this before I even had one mod. I thought it might just be the beginning sewers so I tried the cabin mod to hopefully fix the problem. Didn't work really. When I sleep in it, the second time, it crashes. When I tried to leave the first time it crashed. I bought the game of the year edition, literally last night, and at first I thought it might just be something with shivering isles, etc. So I uninstalled Oblivion, all of it, then reinstalled just the main disc. Nothing. I've tried uninstalling and resintalling numerous times but nothing. I've tried restarting as well but no help what-so-ever.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Oh and one last thing. I meet the minumn system requirements. Except for my video card, I assume. I curently use Windows XP.

I've tried once again after downloading the unofficial patch 3.2 and the mod patch. ModVer: 1.2.0.416 Offset: 003e06d7 That's the error code I get when I click to see the error report. The error occured in oblivion.exe

I have no idea what's wrong with it and it's getting rather annoying. I reinstalled shivering isles. Still didn't help. I'm at a loss on what to do. I thought the unofficial patch would help. But nothing.
