DinMamma
Hello, just picked up TES Construction set and decided to make my own mini mod changing the value of silverware to a value i find appropriate.I managed to change the value of certain types of silver ware, but some doesn't seem to be affected by my mod even though i changed values for that particular item. For example, silver knives will change, but silver forks and silver spoons won't, and can't figure out why they won't change, if they are some sort of unique items (they certainly don't look like it.) I disable all mods except mine to see if there was any conflicts with other mods, but still some silver ware won't change it's value. My question is, how come some of these misc items change but some do not?
Vagrant0
If I remember correctly, such a mod won't apply changes to any items which are in the players inventory or the currently active cell when the mod is enabled. Try doing it with a new game. Object value is also dependent on your mercantile skill, disposition, and what barter % you're using. If using a value smaller than 5, you may not see any value for that item if your skill is low. The only other thing I can think of is that either you aren't editing the right form, or have previously used some OBSE mod which attached a script to the player or a vanilla object which is still being used even with the mod being disabled. A new game should fix the OBSE part as well.
Megatarius
I was under the impression that prices are set at the beginning of the game, and that's that. You have to start a new game. This really sucks because silk robes and other gold embroidered finery are worth 20.

DinMamma
Yeah, it seems a new game is needed to update the object stats. Thanks everyone!
