faffman
Imagine a destruction spell that creates a small but potent bomb that will explode for great fire damage when detonated with another spell. Imagine placing this bomb in an unknowing NPC's pocket, and then detonating it, causing an explosion on said NPC's person, killing them instantly. This is an idea that struck me a while back. This bomb can explode in any container, including of course NPCs and corpses, as well as if lying around on the ground, or on a table or wherever. It wouldn't necessarily be lethal unless exploding on an NPC's person, however, since it would have to be that close to cause fatal damage. And this is the greatest part of the idea. You can place the bomb wherever you want, say in Nazeem's pocket, and then you can detonate it all the way from say, Solitude. Then when you return to Whiterun, you'll find Nazeem's corpse where he supposedly was when the bomb went off. I understand it'll be a lot of work, if it is at all possible. I just thought I'd throw the idea up here.
Avastgard
This is a great idea. I was just thinking about the possibility of putting timed explosives inside NPC's pockets, but the spell-triggered bomb idea is even better.
