Wizardgenis
So, I am new to mods in general, but from what I have read, when I open a mod with WinRAR, the .esp file should have a swiss army knife icon. The icon I get is just a blank sheet of paper. Also, every time I try to put the mod into the oblivion data file, it says file could not be found, blahblahblahblah. So, I have never been able to get any mod to work, what so ever. I am also running windows 7. Could this be part of the problem.Thanks.-Daniel Young

Wizardgenis
What is UAC control? Sorry, I don't know much. And I installed it to Program Files (x86).
Pronam
User Account Control. Some security that prevents you from making changes at places that are important. Unfortunately, it has its extremes and therefore asks it at every file at your Program Files folder. A simple solution is that you install oblivion outside of the program files folder. Like C:\Games or any other folder in C:\ (or the disk its getting installed on.) that wasn't there before. Another is to disable UAC, but that's generally a bad idea. Here is some more explanation about it on the wiki. (what applies to vista, generally applies to 7 as well.) I'm using 7 and it's running like a sunshine.
