How to switch models for a companion race?

So I've got the MonsterMod by dogtown1 and its optional extra file for the Terminator 800 as an enemy.

I've also got the ST Robot Race and Companion version.

What I want to do is use the model of the T-800 from the first mod for the Robot Race.

I've seen pictures of this an a short explanation of it here:

The first link has the uploader give a brief method of how he did it. I tried via GECK but couldn't accomplish anything.

Does anybody have a clue what to do?

I'd really appreciate an explanation. Thanks in advance.
