Local Map is bugged?

My local map is screwed. 1/4th of my local map is covered with the background template you see in the menus, leaving me with a half-erased map. Although it is transparent (you could see markers through the cover), it still covers the actual map.

-The only things I have installed that alter the UI/Map is DarNified UI and Dynamic Map.

-The problem occurred after installing Dynamic Map. Disabled and overwritten, the problem still persists.

If anyone would kindly provide professional insight and/or a working solution, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

P.S: Would give screenshots as soon as I get back to my main computer.

There's a "no bumping" rule in the ToS. Doing what you just did will only lead your topic to get locked, if repeated.

There's only a handful of people left regularly checking in this part of the forums, Oblivion is quite an old game already by now.

But I know for a fact they will go way back to the last page containing a topic or post they haven't read yet, so there's no need to bring it to their attention by bumping it anyways. I know I do.

Due to their dwindling small numbers though it might sometimes take quite a while for your topics to receive a reply. You mustn't forget from the 2-digit number of people still reading in here there also need to be some which know the answer to your problem as well first. These get less and less likely to immediately rush into any topic shortly after creation, of course.

As for your problem at hand, to me this sounds like a clear conflict between Darn UI and this Dynamic Map mod.

Darn UI modifies the UI files and dimensions extensively. Another mod expecting different dimensions like from Vanilla will inevitably lead to issues.

Then again, going by the comments of Dynamic Map, many people seem to have a hard time configuring their installs of this rather complex mod correctly. It looks like you also need to configure the proper map sizes in the INI file somewhere even.

I'm not sure why uninstalling Dynamic Map, or reinstalling Darn, didn't fix it, but nowadays only very few people know anymore how to 'properly' remove a mod completely, and a simple mistake/missing some step during uninstall is more than likely.

A screenshot might help indeed, as would links to the mods in question, so the few people coming in here who might have an idea of what's happening or how to fix it will be more likely to realize it.

I'm not using Dynamic Map myself, so I can't be of much more help with this, sadly.

Thank you for your advice and insights, and sorry for my mistake. I should have known the No Bump rule and should have waited for the people to notice my plight. Rest assured, that mistake won't be happening again. As for the problem, I will be looking into thoroughly cleansing my map folders. And also, here are the screenshots that will provide more visual information to future readers.

Again, thank you Mr. Drake.
